Basketball 2011-2012

The Landmark Eagles have a great schedule for the 2011-2012 season. We will be playing teams like Finneytown, Woodward ,Dayton Jefferson, Shroeder Padea, Thurgood Marshall, Dayton Dunbar and others, as well as being in several top tournaments.
Our varsity boys are returning 3 starters from last years 30 and 13 team. They won state, finished third at the NACA national tourney and won the 4a at the NCHBC national tourney.
Our girls finished with a record of 30 - 8. They were state champions, regional champions and finished in the elite 8 at the NCHBC nationals. We are returning
3 starters and 2 major contributors from that team as well as a nucleus of young talent.
We are also in a league this year and we have picked up a sponsorship from Reebok. More details on this later.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
OPEN GYMS:
Tuesday (9-13-2011) and Thursday (9-15-2011) from 3 till 5 for high school boys, high school girls, and children ages 8 through 14. These will be informal and loosely organized with age-appropriate games as numbers allow. We will provide balls for the kids to work with. There will be no formal drills or coaching during these sessions.
FORMAL WORKOUTS:
Tuesdays (9-20, 9-27, 10-4) and Thursdays ( 9-29 and 10-6)
If you want to play this year, please make at least one of these to register.

PRESCHOOL PLAYERS:
If there is enough interest, we will also be starting a preschool program ( ages 3-6) once a week starting in December for 10 weeks. Tenatively, this will be on Mondays from 9:30 till 11:00 and will cost $45. They will play at half-time of the varsity games (and my granddaughter Callie will be a star).
